PLANO, Texas – Jon Alford has been named Chief Financial Officer at Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco starting March 1.
For the last two years, Alford has served as Chief Financial Officer at Medical City Denton where he was instrumental in helping coordinate capital resources for expanding hospital services, acquiring leading edge equipment and increasing bedside staff. Alford was also a strong advocate for underserved patients, securing additional charitable and unreimbursed medical expense options for the community.
Alford brings more than 14 years of healthcare finance experience, having worked previously with Baptist Health in Little Rock, Ark.; Wake Forest Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan; and OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Alford is a certified public accountant and earned a Bachelor and a Master of Arts in Accounting degree at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Additionally, he served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for nine years and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
