Medical City Plano ranks among the top hospitals in Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth, according to the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” 2015-2016 ratings. MCP was the only hospital in Collin County to make the list, ranking 8th among Dallas-Fort Worth hospitals, and 23rd among 600 Texas hospitals overall.
In addition, Medical City Plano was recognized as high performing in two common care adult specialty areas:
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Heart failure
U.S. News analyzed more than 5,000 hospitals for adult and pediatric care to find the best in the nation, based on critical criteria and patient outcomes.
