Medical City Plano is pleased to announce Assistant Chief Nurse Officer, Sandi Gill, has received recognition as one of DFW’s “The Great 100 Nurses.”
Gill has a diverse background in nursing, previously serving in critical care, emergency, PACU, organ donation coordination, and most recently as Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.
“Nursing is my passion. I cannot explain the satisfaction that comes from improving the life of an individual,” said Sandi Gill, 2016 award recipient. “I am fortunate to lead at Medical City Plano where our nursing team delivers compassionate care every day.”
“Sandi Gill embodies everything ‘The Great 100 Nurses’ program stands for both on the job and off,” said Sandy Haire, Chief Nursing Officer of Medical City Plano. “She is richly deserving of this recognition and I am very proud of her.”
“The Great 100 Nurses” recognizes nurses for excellence in the art and science of nursing. The one hundred RNs were nominated by peers and selected because they are role models, leaders, community servants, compassionate caregivers and significant contributors to the nursing profession. The nurses recognized come from all practice areas in nursing, including acute care, sub-acute care, school nursing, nurse leaders, academics and more.
Sandi Gill will be recognized during the 2016 DFW Great 100 Nurses Celebration on May 3, 2016 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
