Medical City Plano February 13, 2014

Medical City Plano will celebrate the grand opening of its new off-campus emergency department, 24/7 Emergency Care, with a family-focused festival on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. March Mania Family Festival will include the Dallas Mavericks mascot, Champ, along with inflatable games, face painting, free gifts and child-friendly ER Experience tours. Attendees will also enjoy Chick-fil-A sandwiches and assorted prizes. The event will be held at the new facility located at 3670 Highway 121, east of Coit Road in Plano.

24/7 Emergency Care, a department of Medical City Plano, will be a full-service ER staffed with board-certified emergency physicians. The north Plano location will have 12 private rooms, including two pediatric themed treatment rooms. An on-site laboratory and imaging services under one roof will help speed the diagnosis and treatment time for patients. If needed, on-call specialists and consultation services will be provided by hospital medical staff, with direct admission to the main campus hospital for inpatient care should conditions require further care.
